back to the job search
joanne called me this morning to tell me that she is moving to file for divorce today. i couldn't be more happy for her. a few weeks ago when she moved out with the kids i was a little skeptic. a couple of weekends ago i had to practically pull her by the ear to get her to come out for a drink with us. but i think she's finally coming around. she's talking about going back to school to get her RN so i had some information sent to her from HPU just to get her motivated. god i hope she goes through with this.
i sent out my application a couple days ago for financial aid from bishop estate. now i have to gather all the supporting documents and have it submitted by the may 15th. i cannot wait to go back to school. i plan to completely throw myself into it. i don't have much more to go. now is the perfect time for me. i have no boyfriend and i'm happy. nothing to worry about. nothing to distract me. hopefully i won't have to work. that would be superb. i'd be done in no time.
but for now, i really need a job. i got a letter last week saying i qualify as a educational assistant so monday i'm going to hit the schools on the windward side. if i could get a job in waimanalo that would be perfect. i could walk to work. walk to work! can you imagine? every single job i've ever had (and thats alot of jobs) have been in waikiki. and the oddest hours too. like ten hour shifts working till one in the morning. oh how i would love a monday though friday 9-5-type job. and not having to drive? or at least not having to drive over the mountain? bonus. wish me luck.
oh don't mind the guestbook. the signmyguestbook.com server shut down while i was in the middle of changing it.
